About the role

This role primarily suits a very well organised and self motivated administrative assistant. You will work closely with our professional mortgage brokers assisting them with report preparation, data entry, application preparation and management and other 'back office' procedures. Some external client contact will be required.

The successful applicant will have excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, good communication and report writing skills and sound judgement and initiative. MS Office experience necessary. Experience in the mortgage industry is not essential.

Competitive remuneration will comprise of a base salary in the range of $36,000 to $40,000 p.a. (plus super) plus a six monthly performance bonus.


Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Analyst

Reporting to: Analyst / Senior Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting brokers with product research.
  • Completion of standard reports (this mostly involves data compilation as a broker will provide you with the required information).
  • Completion of application forms.
  • Compilation of applications and supporting documentation for submission to lender (this may include lodging information electronically).
  • Management of application which includes following up the lender, answering questions, etc.
  • Providing general administrative assistance to brokers.
  • You will be required to learn about some products.

Personal attributes:

Support staff will have the following personal attributes:

  • Passion for providing professional world-class client service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Very strong time management skills.
  • Good initiative.
  • Good relationship and communication skills.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer and financial literacy.

Interacting with: Internal and external (client contact)

Salary: Competitive remuneration will comprise of a base salary in the range of $36,000 to $40,000 p.a. (plus super) plus a six monthly performance bonus.

Training:

  • Internal training on procedures.
  • Lender accreditation courses (which may be required).
  • Any training as required by ProSolution's license, the lenders or by law.

Key Performance Indicators:

Key performance indicators and targets will be discussed and set by the individual staff and their direct supervisor on a bi-annual basis during a formal performance review process.
